Mission Statement

This is my opportunity to describe the philosophy of my daycare home.

My mission is to provide childcare services that prepare your child for the future. I use an interactive approach that allows me to work with one child at a time. I feel this is the best way to educate and help develop the children.

Program Design

Here I will describe the structure of my program.

My goal is to help the children develop as individuals and reinforce life success skills.
Socialization - Making friends and playing.
Communication Skills - Conflict resolution and problem solving
Physical Activity - Large motor developement, games and sports.
Creativity - Art, Drama, and Dance
Free Choice Time - Time to rest and relax and choose.
Individual Attention - low child / provider ratio.
Life Skills - Carpentry, Gardening, Science, Cooking, etc.
Three R's Practice - Hands-on, real life oriented activities which reinforce reading, writing and arithmetic.
Character building - working on character traits: Patience, Attentiveness, etc.
